Baxter is an Artist, Producer,
Director, Actor, Singer and
storyteller. Ayers created and
writes the popular and well
respected columns AskRoy and

Ayers' first recognized art
form was a charcoal drawing he
did at the age of nine. His
teacher took everyone to a
museum to draw things. Ayers
picked out a Mammoth and used
charcoal because he enjoyed
being messy. The teacher bought
it and it first hung in a
Springfield, Illinois
museum. When his parents moved
to Pacific Beach near San Diego,
Ayers said he wasn't a good
enough suffer to get the girls
so he started drawing surfers
and the girls liked it. A
photographer for Surfer Magazine
saw his work and bought one of
his large charcoal drawings and
later hired him to do work for
the magazine at the grand old
age of
14. Ayers draws in pencil,
crayons, charcoal, chalk, magic
markers and pen and ink, Ayers
has traveled the world
to include living three years in
Pakistan 2004 - 2006. While
doing a documentary on the
culture of Pakistan,
Ayers walked the streets and met
the people directly each day in
Karachi. He soon started drawing
pictures of some of the street
kids who begged in Khada Market.
Ayers says he wanted to remember
them. "Drawing a persons face is
an intimate action and there is
a bond and relationship that
occurs making you feel like you
have found a small piece of
their soul."
